The company has recently secured orders for three new items from MOOG which will be part of the Joint Strike Fighter aircraft programme. Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) is an aircraft platform that will replace a wide range of aging fighters, strike and ground attack aircraft for the United States and its allies. After a competition between the Boeing X-32 and the Lockheed Martin X-35, a final design was chosen based on the X-35. This is the F-35 Lightening II, which will replace various tactical aircraft, including the F16, A-10, F/A-18, AV-8B and the Harrier GR7 & GR9's.  the programme will see more than 4000 aircraft produced over 25 years and the platform will be sold globally.  To be part of this programme at such an early stage is hugely important to the company.

Other sales and marketing strategies are continuing to develop with MOOG currently looking at FAL for vital part acquisition.  APPH are working with the company on a number of projects including the supply of precision machined assemblies from forgings.
