Farnborough Air Show 2010 19/08/2010

This years Farnborough Air-show took place during July 19^th- 25^thwith the company taking the opportunity to exhibit on the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) main stand.  With help from our marketing partner Kean Creative new stand graphics and brochures were produced which complemented the style as promoted on the new company web site.

Throughout the entire week the stand was manned by George Reeves and Afzal Mansuri (Who both had sore feet by the end!).  Geoff Ford, Mark Podmore and myself also visited the show and spent time on the stand. 

During the five business days (Monday to Friday) a number of our existing customers such as Bae, Wesco, FSL and AgustaWestland took time out to come to the stand.  Having the opportunity to meet with senior representatives from these companies such as Richard Frost - Vice President Procurement - AgustaWestland gave the opportunity to share in detail the many improvements which have been ongoing within our company and each was very pleased and supportive of our progress and the efforts by all.

Exhibiting at the air-show also allowed us to meet with a number of potential new customers who expressed a keen interest in our products and services.  A number of those who spent time on the stand were keen to know more about easipeel thus proving that this remains a very marketable product.  New leads which are now being followed up include MacLaren Motor Sport, Bae Systems in Prestwick, Silcoms, AJ Levin and others.

The air-show also provided an ideal venue to host an AgustaWestland forum review which consisted of the five primes together with AgustaWestland and the MoD discussing progress against the strategic forum initiatives.

Overall this years air-show proved to be very positive with both Geoff Ford and Mark Podmore commenting on how professional the stand looked and that it was by far our best stand to date.
