New HAAS VF5 16/03/2011

On 16th March Ford Aerospace Ltd received and commissioned a HAAS VF5 - 4 axis machine.  This machine increases the size envelope and capacilty for their milling cell.  The bed size will also allow complete laminate sheets to be machined offering a more competitive edge.

The acquisition of this machine is the lastest in the recent investments made by Ford in the past 14 months, other investments include, HAAS VF4 machining centre, HAAS lathe, laser cutting machine, Inspection equipment and software
