Ford Aerospace prides itself on being here for its customers, the community and its staff.
With our foundations established in 1910, we are a trusted name in the manufacturing and engineering community.
Set up to help young people develop the skills they need to start a successful career in engineering or manufacturing. Ford Aerospace Apprenticeship Academy is a partnership with Gateshead college and South Tyneside College.
Designed to provide access to nationally accredited manufacturing and engineering qualifications and work experience, it offers Level 1 and Level 2 pre-apprenticeship engineering courses.
To date, Ford Aerospace Apprenticeship Academy has helped hundreds of students throughout the North East of England to start their careers in the sector.
Providing hands-on opportunities, our team leaders and staff continue to work with the colleges to develop live briefs, arrange site visits, and work experience, as well as areas like interview techniques.
